Description

The Vacation Budget Project asks your students to plan a trip to the city of their choice anywhere in the world for one week. Starting from how they will get there to where they will stay and how much they will spend when they are there, the Vacation Budget Project introduces students to vacation planning, money management, travel research, budgeting, critical thinking, problem solving, and even percentages. It is a very well-rounded project that contains an abundance of real world skills, all while being a lot of fun. They, or you, might never go to Paris, but after this project, they'll know how much they would need to save to make that a reality one day.

**Please note that this is also a DIGITAL project. On the very last page of the PDF, you will be given a link that you can click to "Make a Copy" of the Google doc. This means you can use the project with Google Classroom, have students do a solely electronic project, or edit the copy you make in order to make any changes you may need to personalize it for your class.
