The Ultimate Survivor Challenge Activity Game

Welcome to The Ultimate Survivor Challenge Game! Developed for students grades 2nd-5th, this hands-on STEM game combines knowledge gained from sessions of learning, team collaboration, communication and fun!

After students learn about: “Leave No Trace” principles, Wilderness First Aid basics, How to use and make a compass, How to identify edible plants and insects, Where to find fresh water sources, How to filter water using a basic rock and soil filter, and how to build a fire using a friction method, they demonstrate their skills learned in this live team challenge.

These challenges stretched over the course of 6 weeks, ending in a live team challenge event. Students accumulated worksheets or gained knowledge from each challenge, and made books using cardboard and twine to bind their Survival Books. Worksheets and challenge resources are included in this bundle.

For activities, we utilized videos on these subjects.

This Ultimate Survivor Challenge could also be a team building exercise for adults, or just a fun game.
