How Did the Geography of the Thirteen Colonies Impact the Economy of Each Region?
In this DBQ, students will read background information, analyze seven sources, answer a total of 21 questions, and come to the conclusion that the geography of the thirteen colonies was responsible for the types of resources the colonists were able to sell or use to manufacture products. By the end of the DBQ, students will see the land and its natural resources from the standpoint of a 17th century colonist and explain how the geography of each region impacted its economy.
