Description

Updated for Distance Learning! In addition to the printable version, a Google Slides version of the resources has also been provided (with text boxes to type out all the answers). This version is great for distance learning and paperless classrooms.

This product is designed to support a class lesson that centers around the The Story of Stuff Video that can be easily found on YouTube. The Story of Stuff is an interesting and clearly illustrated 21 minute video about the materials economy and its impact on the environment. I use this video in my unit on Ecology in Gr.9 Science. It is really eye opening for most students and helps them understand how their consumer choices effect the environment. The discussion that follows is always very interesting. (All documents in this product are provided in editable Word format as well as in PDF format to ensure that fonts are locked.)

This is also great to use for Earth Day/Week activities.

✿ The Holiday Science BUNDLE contains this resource as well as ones on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Black History Month for 35% OFF.
