Description

The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats is a classic children's book which is featured on the Mensa K-3 Reading List. A wonderful story about a little boy named Peter who explores the first winter season's snowfall.

Ezra Jack Keats received the 1963 Caldecott Medal for his collage artwork, which made The Snowy Day the first picture book with an African American protagonist to win a major children's award.

This product will utilize The Snowy Day as a mentor Text and The Writing Revolution methods by Judith Hochman & Natalie Wexler (author of the Knowledge Gap) to help your child or student learn important concepts in reading and writing.
