Description

20 printable or digital projects for students to search online for information about the skin and our sense of touch. We explore sweat, hair, bacteria, acne, body odor, cuts, bruises and pain. We watch YouTube videos to learn more about our skin and how it keeps us alive. We search Google and YouTube with such questions as:

  • Why do animals have different types of skin?
  • What is the purpose of your skin?
  • Why are skin colors different?
  • How can we protect our skin?
  • Why does an insect have such tough skin?
  • Why do people have hair on their skin?
  • Why do birds have feathers on their skin?
  • Why do mosquitoes bite me?
  • And more.

PRINT: I created a PDF version that you can download on your computer and print for students to use in class or at home. Click on "Add one to cart" and download your copy.

DIGITAL ACTIVITY: I created a digital version with text boxes so students can type in the answers using a computer or tablet (for Distance Learning). Click on "Create Digital Activity" and link the activities to your Google Classroom. Online Resource. Yes, I already added the interactive layer to each page. Enjoy!
