The Real World- Family Budget Spreadsheet

To be used with the Real World Family Budget Activity- provides an easy way for students to input all their data. Auto calculates net income by multiplying gross by 70% to account for taxes and insurance. Auto calculates savings at 10% and figures total income, total expenses and surplus or deficit.

I upload this to googly drive and then share with each group as a "can view" file, they copy it and add their data and share it back. This prevents a group from corrupting the original.

The spreadsheet is editable to add or subtract lines of budget, just be careful that cells used for calculating are adjusted or accounted for or the auto calculating will be off.
