Description

This resource is the real deal. Created by a reading specialist - this 160 page bundle can be used for an entire school year to help build foundational reading skills. This resource gives the students the ability to practice each reading comprehension skill both visually and through text. Students are actively engaged in analyzing the detailed picture as they delve into the given comprehension strategy without even realizing it. Then, through written practice, they can practice the skill. There is even a challenge activity for each picture. After analyzing the picture, the students go on with a new found confidence to analyze written text using the given strategy.

The following reading skills are included:

  • Main Idea (20 pages)
  • Compare/contrast (20 pages)
  • Cause/Effect (20 pages)
