Description
Sitting across from your administrator during an evaluation meeting can be intimidating, even daunting. How can you self-reflect on your practice when you aren't clear on the pedagogical targets? This tool has been tested by new and seasoned teachers. All attest to its value. As a former coach, and now classroom teacher, I use this constantly. Nine design questions are represented on a total of 42 cards. Print, laminate, and hole punch for your own ring. This tool is also handy for administrators!
This Quality Instruction Tool has been developed to support educators' daily instruction, self-reflection, and evaluation processes. It is a ringed book consisting of 42 color-coded and numbered 1/2 page cards. Each color-coded, numbered section corresponds with a Marzano design question for domain 1, The cards identify the best practice strategy for the educator, as well as what their actions should be, and what behaviors they should see from their students if the strategy is implemented successfully. It helps the educator be better aware of the strategies she employs in her teaching, and as a result, better reflect for growth.
