Description

Product is one of the 4 Ps of the Marketing Mix and really, it’s the heart of the Marketing Mix!  Without Product, we wouldn’t need price, place or promotion!  

This resource includes everything you need to teach the Product P to your students.  Designed for a Marketing class, this could also be used in Introduction to Business or Entrepreneurship courses.  In total, this fun resource outlines 10+ days of teaching depending on your pace.  The unit is jam packed with activities and resources for your classroom.  

All resources are available as Google Drive documents which allows you to make a copy and change as needed.  When you download this resource you will be directed to an in depth Unit Plan which will be your starting point.  The Unit Plan outlines each day of class and includes step by step instructions for you to follow along.  There are a variety of activities including case studies, videos with questions, group activities and individual work.  A study guide and final test (multiple choice) are also available.  Most days include a self directed teaching option with links to online resources. 

Here are the details of what’s included:

  • 77 slide Google slides presentation.  The presentation includes relevant, up to date graphics and 10+ videos embedded within it.  
  • 13 page student workbook with vocabulary practice, guided notes and mini cases.  This resource is perfect for students to follow along during notes and makes for a great study guide.
  • The Unit Plan that outlines each day for you.  The Unit Plan has links to all assignments, activities, slideshows, and resources included.  It really is your jumping off point!  At the bottom of the Unit Plan is a picture of what you may want to set your Google Drive folder up to look like.  
  • Student activities include: 2 reading opportunities, 4 video options, 10 student activities most of which have the option to be done individually or in groups, 5 case studies and one DECA activity.  There is a career component that gives students the opportunity to research the Product Manager position.  
  • 1 test with 30 multiple choice test questions, 5 short answer options and 2 math questions. 
  • Answer keys and student examples are provided for most activities.
