Description

Students will color and doodle as they take notes to learn about the United States' Executive Branch. These graphic doodle notes summarize the Executive Branch and include requirements, qualifications, salary and benefits of the president and vice president; roles and powers of the president and vice president; limits to the powers of the president; presidential succession; cabinet and executive departments; independent agencies, and the federal bureaucracy and Civil Service.

What's included with the printed Doodle Notes:

*Teacher directions and a list of the videos included in the PowerPoint (4 pages)

*Blank doodle notes for students to fill in and color as you cover the information on the handouts. (4 pages; uneditable PDF)

*Fill-in-the-blank version for students who have difficulty with note taking. (4 pages; uneditable PDF)

*Filled-in b&w version doodle notes to be used a coloring sheets or for doodling while you go over the information. (4 pages; uneditable PDF)

*Color version for examples or displays. (4 pages; uneditable PDF)

*PowerPoint presentation that covers all of the material in the doodle notes and includes video links to help you expand your lesson (34 slides; the black text in the PowerPoint is editable, but graphics are not)

What's included with the Digital Guided Notes (these notes cover the same content and look the same as the doodle notes, but they are not considered doodle notes since students cannot color or interact with the pages like they would in print)

The other version remain yours in case you ever need to use them (in case your school makes the jump to 1:1 classes sometime in the future or if you have a student whose IEP requires a hard copy of assignments instead of digital ones).
