Do your students enjoy being competitive and learning through games?

This Jeopardy style "The Outsiders Trivia Review Game” is the perfect way to include a fun game into learning and reviewing. 

This Google Slides Parts of Speech Review Game reviews these topics:

1. Identifying characters in The Outsiders from descriptions.

2. Filling in the blanks of popular quotations by main characters. 

3. Selecting the correct setting based off of the description given. 

4. Recalling details from the main events in The Outsiders.

This Google Slides "Outsiders Review Trivia Review Game" includes :

  • Two Instructional Slides for the teacher.
  • A Teacher Answer Slide
  • A printable slide for teachers to use to keep score and keep track of which questions have been asked.
  • Four main categories with four different questions per category, ranging from $100 to $400 in value based on difficulty.
  • 16 thought-provoking review questions. 
  • A "Home Page" Slide with hyperlinks to all the corresponding game slides.
  • A final question for students to wager their points at the end of the game.


What prep is needed? 

  • Print off slides 3,4, and 5. Read over the instructions if you are unfamiliar with Jeopardy style games. Then you are ready to go!


How long will this game last for?

Each game will take between 30-45 minutes to complete. In my 50-minute class periods, I have found that this game is perfect for one class period.
