Description

The Odyssey by Homer - Qualities of an Epic Hero ! These Odyssey activities are an engaging way for students to look closely at key characters from Homer's Odyssey. A must for your Odyssey unit, this activity asks students to review the qualities of the epic hero, and use those qualities to closely examine the character of Odysseus. This is a great activity to increase comprehension and understanding.

To complete this assignment, students first review the qualities of an epic hero. Students illustrate symbols to represent the qualities, using the template provided.

Next, students use the note taking sheet provided to brainstorm and write down the ways Odysseus displays the heroic qualities in the story. An full answer key is included.

These sheets are a great way to review the story, and make gorgeous additions to Interactive Notebooks!
