Description

Bring your Great Depression SS unit to life using this New Deal Alphabet Soup Digital activity. This project will allow your students to apply what they have learned from your Great Depression unit and allow them to research various New Deal programs a little deeper. This is great for distant learning or for a technology-enhanced activity in your classroom. You have the flexibility to allow your students to pick one or more New Deal programs of their choice by their interest level, or you may assign them how you see fit. This project incorporates many learning styles through technology, artistic design, and research. In addition, this project incorporates ELA into your SS class and has the capability to imbed Speaking and Listening with students presenting/ unveiling their product through a presentation or gallery walk. Included are examples, instructions, alist of FDR's New deal programs for students to pick from, and a blank template to assign to students with a google drive link on the teacher instruction page.
