Description

The Mess That We Made Book Companion and activities includes an east scienceexperiment to extend the reading of “The Mess That We Made” by Michelle Lord. The experiment focuses on water pollution and what it does to plants and water. A great activity for primary students exploring pollution. A recording sheet to help students practice the scientific method is included with predictions and revised predictions as well as a Respecting Water craftivity and writing activity. This allows students to brainstorm ways they can help keep water clean and is a great bulletin board or ceiling decoration for spring and Earth Day. Included in the product is a Water Pollution File Folder Research Project with suggested articles and videos for students to read and listen to with supporting QR codes. These materials are a great way to further explore water pollution and extend learning from reading “The Mess That We Made” and for earth day.
