The Mayflower Voyagers* Movie Vocabulary and Writing Activities

I love showing “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” to my 4th graders in November. But included on the DVD of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is an adorable little bonus gem, “The Mayflower Voyagers”. In addition to it being a fun little featurette, it’s also a surprisingly accurate account of the historical events of the Mayflower voyage and the First Thanksgiving. I love seeing my kids enjoy this video and then become engaged in vocabulary and writing activities based on this story. This product comes with the following pages:

It’s such a charming movie for the Thanksgiving season, and my students always seem to enjoy any activity (even boring ol’ worksheets) that extend their experience and enjoyment of the Peanuts gang! I hope your student enjoy these activities as much as my 4th graders do!
