The Many Adventures of Flat Stanley

This product has been designed for students as an engaging and exciting way to learn about geography and culture. After learning about Flat Stanley, students design their own Flat Stanley (or Flat Stella) and send their characters off into the world. Host families receive their visitors and show them around their town or city, taking photos and documenting adventures in a mini journal. At a specified time, the character is returned to the student along with photos, journal, and sometimes even some special goodies! Upon arrival at school, students open their packages and share with their classmates. Travels are recorded on a classroom map and follow up extensions can be applied to learning.
