Description

This Google Slides presentation introducing the Holocaust is accompanied by a set of fill-in-the-blank notes for students and a review activity. Topics covered: pre-war, anti-Semitism, the Weimar Republic, Germany’s totalitarian state, persecution, US and worldwide response, World War II, the Final Solution, and the aftermath.

This lesson can be printed, used digitally, or a combination of the two. All resources are Google Drive resources (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.). This lesson includes support for struggling readers and/or special education students, such as guided notes and repeated exposure to content.

The Google Slides presentation can be used for a lecture style lesson as well as assigned for students to independent review. Students can complete the notes during the lecture or afterward during independent review. The Google Form review further reinforces key details from the presentation.
