What educators are saying

I thought this material was great. It kept the students engaged without overwhelming them with a barrage of questions. The questions were well thought out and helped contrast the newer version of the movie with the book we just finished reading.
This is an excellent resource to pair with the Gatsby film! It helps students deeply analyze the film. Will use it time and time again!

Description

Buyer comments:
"A very thorough viewing guide to The Great Gatsby. I like the "before" and "during" questions, and the answer key always helps!"

"This is really helpful! It has a lot of questions, and they are very thoughtful. It requires students to think about the "why" behind the choices made."

This in-depth learning guide requires students to think deeply about the latest version of The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It includes pre-viewing questions as well as questions to answer as they watch, (27 questions in total). There is also a teacher's guide with suggested answers for each question. Questions cover elements of the movie such as the use of modern music and words on the screen, and also questions that point out differences in the movie and why the filmmakers made those choices. Using this movie guide with the film works as a good review for a test over the book, but it can also be used after a test just to keep kids watching with intention as they analyze the differences between the two mediums.
