The Geometry in the Real World Project

This four-page rubric describes in detail what students should do to complete this project. It also has the guidelines for scoring the project in four different factors that each have five categories.

In the geometry in the real world project, students will need to pick a building, bridge, statue, etc, and conduct research on this item. Using the geometry of the structure, they will write an essay, create a poster, build a model of the structure, and make an oral presentation. It has been so wonderful to see the amazing ways the students have presented the geometry of structures in the real world.
