Description

A simple, printable book about asking God for help and sharing, straight from Mark 6, with matching tens frames! Kid-friendly wording along with lesson notes to guide teachers! This low-prep book is ready to print and simple to teach! Pages can easily be printed full size for a read-aloud or printed on half sheets for take-home books and to save paper. Excerpt from Mark is included. View the partial preview above.

I've ended this story with two optional prayers that students can fill out, too! Young readers can understand how God gives us even more than we ask for.

Included: Tens frame activity and printable set of 0-10 tens frames to match the loaves and fishes!

Age Recommendations:

Pre-K/K: Read-aloud and practice with letter recognition/some simple words

K-1st: Some may be able to read with help; many sight words included

1st-2nd: Strong readers may be able to read independently; struggling readers may need guidance; practical for close reading

The story and prayers make up 12 pages; tens frames and teacher notes make up the rest of the document.

Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
