Description
This virtual music history activity and listening center introduces 17 American music genres, the history behind the development of the genre, important artists and songs, and it's defining musical characteristic. This music resource is good for print or to share with your students virtually. Print versions can be requested by email and include QR codes instead of video links. This activity features:
- 1 clickable "piano" homepage to serve as a landing pad for students to explore different genre slides at random.
- A Musical glossary of terms
- A custom spotify playlist code that includes all the songs in this activity
- 17 genre info slides that include: a list of sub-genres, influencing sounds, "what does the genre sound like?", a list of key artists, and a brief history of the development of the genre.
- Each slide also includes:
