What educators are saying
Description
The Easter Egg by Jan Brett is a delightful children's Easter story. This Reader's Theater allows the children not only to enjoy the story a bit more, but to increase their reading and speaking fluency.
There are ten speaking parts in this Reader's Theater. You may use it in a small reading group, a reading center, an independent reading practice center, or as a free-time activity.
It may be performed in front of another class, the principal, an assembly, or in front of the other students in your class. It's often fun to invite the parents in and have a "Reader's Theater" day!
Depending on how many scripts and students you have, each reading group could be practicing a different Reader's Theater. Then your class could present to each other!
Feel free to change the script in any way that you need.
Headbands/necklaces are included, as well as a color-coded script for your convenience.
