These close reading passages are an excellent tool for a Crucible unit. Each passage is carefully chosen and abridged to capture a key scene from the act, and the coinciding activity and prompt allow you to focus on key reading and comprehension skills: Puritan lifestyle, Elements of Drama, Conflict, and Mood.
