This is a webquest activity that has students analyze six different accounts of the Boston Tea Party, and find similarities and differences amongst the sources/documents.

The accounts of this event are in a variety of formats, from multiple sources (firsthand accounts of the event, a video, and other primary source documents related to the Boston Tea Party).

In addition to supporting the common core informational text standards involving multiple accounts of the same event/topic, this product also supports common core informational writing standards. Included with this product is a text-based writing prompt and planning sheet, requiring students to inform about the causes and effects of the Boston Tea Party.
