This is a great documentary guide following along with The Bleeding Edge on Netflix. This movie is about the medical device industry and the lack of regulation by the FDA. It aligns with any healthcare standards involving ethics, medical innovation and medical technology. It is rated TV-14. There is one "iffy" segment of the documentary where patients briefly discuss intercourse following their struggles with a pelvic mesh mishap. If you are utilizing this resource in a healthcare course, I believe that this shouldn't be an issue for your students.

There are 15 guided questions. I have also included 4 discussion questions, with instructions for them to pick 2 to answer. These are opinion/situational type questions.

I extend the conversation about this documentary using the discussion questions. We discuss the students' opinions and play devil's advocate. There have been some truly insightful conversations.
