Description

Unfortunately, foreign languages are a niche faculty in modern educational institutions, such as high schools. The resulting reality is that budgets allocated to language departments are often tiny and languages are put at the bottom of the priority ladder when it comes to school planning and resourcing.

I have faced this reality for years and the subsequent under-resourcing it yields. Such a situation has resulted in me having to privately acquire teaching resources for se in the classroom.

I have tried many books, packages, websites and often created much of my own work. It is hugely time consuming searching for and experimenting with the range of resources available and I have found many books and websites to be full of dross and a waste of time and money.

Since I have done the work for you, here is my list of recommended materials for use in the Japanese classroom. Hopefully it saves you time and angst and frees up your time to focus on using the material for effective teaching.
