Description

The poet Virgil's classic Roman epic the Aeneid comes to life in this Reader's Theater script-story collection! Join Aeneas as he journeys from the burning city of Troy in search of a new home for his people. Along the way, he woos the Queen of Carthage, faces off against deadly monsters, and even descends into the Underworld before he complete his quest. Each portion of the Aeneid is adapted into a high-interest script-story, which students can read in conjunction with the original epic poem to increase understanding and promote engagement.
