Included in this set you'll find everything you need for your students to complete the turkey shown in the picture. The turkey's feathers can be colored by students or copied onto construction paper. The writing portion of the project can be completed in a number of different ways...

- Older students can complete the project based upon a book of their choice.

- Students can work in pairs or small groups using the same text.

- The class can work together to identify the key details and main idea of a classroom read-aloud.

When the projects are finished, hang them up in the hallway along with the included banner and you'l have a festive, colorful (and standards-based) Thanksgiving display!
