Thanksgiving Reader's Theater! Gobble It Up! is a Thanksgiving play script or reader's theater for students to read aloud or act out. The setting is the first Thanksgiving, and the Pilgrims and the Native Americans are coming together for a three-day feast. Mr. Turkey Lurkey has to take cover or become Thanksgiving dinner. It is a comedy that will make you laugh. There are 26 short speaking parts, so everyone can be involved! It takes approximately 20-25 minutes to be performed. No costumes necessary, but you can dress it up. Fun November educational activity based on facts on the history of Thanksgiving! Print and go. No prep. Two versions included - one with a smaller print (4 pages) to save on copies, and one with a larger font for reading ease (8 pages). No need to memorize lines. Also includes character speaking parts you can cut out and distribute to student actors. Teacher directions included, with suggestions for teaching the allusions in the script.
