Thanksgiving Preschool Hide and Seek

What educators are saying
Description
My preschoolers LOVE to play find the "object" and it reinforces everything they are learning in class. This Thanksgiving Hide and Seek game is going to be a favorite during the month of November! Print the Thanksgiving cards and add them to a pocket chart or place cards on the table or floor. Hide the Thanksgiving object behind one of the cards. The students then take turns guessing the shape, letter, number, color, or sight word to see if they can find the hidden object. Introduce during circle time and then have your students play during center or free-choice time.
Extend the activity with the black and white printables!
- Add the Thanksgiving cards to sensory bins and have the students find and record.
- Add the Thanksgiving cards to a mystery bag and have the students pull out cards and record.
Hang cards around the classroom and have the students record what they find.
