Thanksgiving Paired Texts Unit

This is a Thanksgiving literacy unit including both literary and informational texts. This literacy unit is aligned to the common core standards and includes everything you need to complete the activities to accompany A Plump and Perky Turkey, Twas’ the Night Before Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving Is. The novel study includes a table of contents, teacher reading guides for each book, activity guides, black-line masters, and more. Common Core standards are included such as tier 2 vocabulary; retelling stories; characters, setting, and plot; story structure; problem and solution; asking questions; point of view; responding to the text; and writing (narrative and how to). The novel study can be adapted to meet the Common Core standards for multiple grade levels.
