Thanksgiving Digital Breakout Game/ Escape Room Activity: Turkey Troubles

Time for some fun for Thanksgiving! Need a breakout to build problem solvers, collaboration, and excitement!

I love a breakout but don’t love the hassle of all the necessary equipment. A digital breakout uses the same concept but without the physical locks and keys. All you need is the internet and collaborative, logical minds.

This digital breakout is intended for strengthening collaborative work and problem solving while having fun around the time of Thanksgiving. This team building exercise will provide challenge, conversation, and fun. This breakout will allow students the opportunity to see how a breakout works in order to complete more academic breakouts later in the school year.

If you have used digital breakouts before, all you will have to do is assign the link provided. The link is to a Google Site that holds the Google Form with the “locks”, the narrative for the breakout, and custom links are embedded within the Google Site to the clues.

Clues can be found by:

★ Clicking on hyperlinks found within underlined text and pictures

★ Solving logic puzzles

★ Solving picture puzzles

★ Solving math challenges

★ Finding hidden turkeys
