THANKSGIVING ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS - COMPARING THEN AND NOW

This set of supplemental social studies materials will help primary students compare their modern lives to the lives of the Pilgrims.

THE SET INCLUDES:

  • 2 Differentiated Nonfiction Student Books: Each book contains nonfiction text features such as labels, arrows, bold words, and underlined key words.

  • 5 Student Written Response Sheets: These sheets require the children to compare the "then and now" of types of travel, hats, cooking, communication, and toys.

  • 4 Assessment Options to Check for Understanding: The assessment tasks vary, allowing children to draw and/or write to express their ideas.

Option:

The student response sheets and assessment suggestions can also be used for homework, if desired.
