Anchor charts are great learning tools that can be used to "anchor" learning. It is important for students and teachers to complete anchor charts together. That is why my anchor charts and interactive notebook pages have blank spaces that students and teachers fill out together in class.
You can choose to print the anchor charts and fill them out with the class or trace them ahead of time using your projector. Either way, the fill in the blank spaces should be completed during the lesson with your students. You can use the "answer key" provided or come up with similar answers based on student input.
