The assembly is easy enough that your students can put these together in class and then they will always have something to refer back to, especially when they are at home! This is also an excellent resource for parents to use when trying to help their child with their writing!

I have made PARTS of this flip chart EDITABLE. Almost all of the tabs (with the exception of Unpacking the Prompt and Thesis) and the sentence starters are NOT editable. Most of the language I used is applicable to any and all classrooms since they are good writing techniques, therefore I did not make those portions editable. I did, however, make portions of the overview/review sections editable since different districts use different language and I wanted you to be able to use this resource no matter where or what you taught. You also know your class better than anyone, and you know what wording will be too much and what is just right for your students!
