Description: This testing take home letter and motivational notes are the perfect way to encourage your students during testing time! They are great for benchmark assessments, unit assessments, or end of year testing as a way to cheer them on and remind them to do their best!

There are multiple letter options included, as well as multiple notes that can be cut into half sheets and sent home for parents/families to write a note to their student. You may also want to consider having past teachers write notes to students if you are worried about parent/family participation. :)

Directions for Use:

• Send home the letter of your choice and attach a half sheet motivational note to it.
• If you want the letters to be a surprise to students, I recommend putting the letter and note in a blank envelope for parents/families to return it in.

This resource includes the following:

• 6 slightly different letters (2 addressed to families, 2 addressed to parents, and 2 addressed to guardians)
  • The line at the bottom of the letter is for the teacher's signature or stamp. **Be sure to sign or stamp the original letter before making copies :)

• 8 pages of blank 1/2 motivational notes that can be filled out by parents, families, teachers, etc. Cut these in half and attach one to the letter of your choice before sending home with students.
• Header included for each 1/2 page blank note:
  • "Good Luck!"
  • "Do Your Best!"
  • "Rock the Test!"
  • "I Am Proud of You!"
  • Each note comes with the option to sign "Love, _______" or "From, ________."

Print any of these letters or notes in black and white ink on brightly colored paper such as Astro Brights to really make them stand out to students! :)

Printing Instructions

Once you go to File>Print, choose your printer settings. Please note: if you choose fit to printable area, dimensions will be slightly smaller. Print on cardstock or plain white paper.

This is a digital download (you will not receive a physical item) and will be available upon receipt of payment. It will print on a standard 8.5x11in sheet of paper.
