Test Taking Strategy Checklist

This checklist can be used by students to self-assess their use of testing strategies, or it can be used by teachers when monitoring students taking practice tests. I use this during practice tests during the test-prep season, and share it with parents to let them know which strategies their student is using and which they need more prompting to use. It also provides greater accountability for students, a way to measure and document effort, which can then be rewarded.

The first page features reading test checklists, and the second is for math. Run two copies of each to cover a class of 22, 3 copies if you have more than 22.
