Ten Speckled Frogs: A Little Math Reader (Counting Backwards)

This little eight page reader incorporates the counting backwards skill from 10. It really coordinates well with the picture book, Five Little Speckled Frogs, which I never even read until a week after I posted this product! Both my reader and Five Little Speckled Frogs have the counting down concept.

In my reader, Ten speckled Frogs, the pond has 10 frogs and ends with one frog and a fly. Then there is no fly. I included a read and respond page for kids to INFER what happened to the fly. There is a frog fact organizer, too.
