Description

Practice telling time with this engaging penguins matching game for interactive whiteboards (Smart Board, Promethean, Mimio), tablets and computer stations. A perfect game to use as a winter math center or for a whole class collaboration activity.

Students make matches by moving a baby penguin with the digital time to the parent with the matching analog clock. When all matches have been made, a new set will appear. An optional timer is included so you can control for how long your students play.

Note: An internet connection is required to play this game.

FANTASTIC FEATURE #1 – Quick and Easy to Setup and Differentiate

Includes 68 questions for on the hour, half hour and five minute increments. Simply choose the questions you would like your students to practice and save the game settings with the option to easily assign games to individual students or groups for differentiation.

FANTASTIC FEATURE #2 – Many difficulty levels

Set the difficulty by choosing from 2 to 10 matches to be made per screen.

FANTASTIC FEATURE #3 – Self Correcting

Students will know right away if they have matched incorrectly and can try again until they get it right.

Play on an interactive whiteboard, a tablet or a computer workstation. No setup is required, just log in to your Pink Cat Games account at pinkcatgames.com to access your game.

Game Format:

This game runs directly from the pinkcatgames.com website. The website was created so that you can easily play and manage your Pink Cat Games. The website also allows you to easily save game settings with the option to assign games to students and groups. The first time that you visit the website you will be asked to create an account to manage your games. The following browsers are supported: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

How to Play

Whole Class – Have one student at a time come up to the interactive whiteboard and drag a baby penguin to the parent holding the matching clock. When all matches have been made, a new set of matches will appear.

Small Group or Single Player – Start the game on a computer or tablet and allow the student(s) to play for a certain length of time.
