Teaching Cancer Education in Schools

This is a 250 page document which is written as a curriculum guide for teaching cancer education in schools. The first version was written in 2001 because it was observed that schools do not place any emphasis on teaching about a disease that is so destructive to our society. The book presents 25 ways in which teachers, schools or school districts could use to inform students about cancer. By the time students become adults and are diagnosed with cancer, it might be too late. That cancer could have been started because of something they might have been doing years before the cancer appeared. Our school system must feel obligated to present that information to students. That is what this book is about.
