Philosophy and Intent:

I believe that everyone has the ability to learn if provided information in a manner that fits their needs, interests, and perspective. As an educator I used this PowerPoint and materials to provide staff with information relating to needs observed with Arabic English Language Learners. The PowerPoint is accompanied with real-world, research based strategies to improving students' English acquisition.

Objectives:
•Provide educators with easily implemented solutions to their real-world, student difficulties

•Looking at language from multiple angles to provide a broad scope of difficulties as well as multiple considerations for addressing these difficulties

•To promote cultural awareness relating to difficulties that students may face as well as when addressing student learning needs
