What educators are saying

I used this originally to help me with an assignment when getting my credential, and it was so great that I kept using it even after I started teaching!
Wow! I absolutely loved this resource! Thank you so much for creating it. I am an experienced teacher, but this still helped me to organize my thoughts. The interview committee really liked this! I got the job! Thank you.

Description

This download is for a teacher ePortfolio website template on the Google Sites platform. The online portfolio, also known as eportfolio, e-portfolio, webfolio, etc. is a great way to communicate why you're the teacher for the classroom. This template is a spin-off of my original Class Website Template for Google Sites. Both websites have a "cute classroom" theme. The photographs used feature images of wooden desks, art supplies, notebooks, playgrounds, and computers!

ePortfolios are the 21st century digital substitutes for those giant binders that teachers lug into job interviews! Unlike hard copies, online information can be updated or modified whenever you want. Imagine providing the link to the principal BEFORE the interview and sending it to all the people in the interview committee, too! There's no need to pass around hard copies. Show that you are capable of managing distance learning by having your personal website!

This website will exist in your Google Drive where you can modify it as you like. Just add your text, press the publish button and you're ready to share the url with principals! You can watch the YouTube video preview in high definition here: https://youtu.be/63G_um4FsAQ

About

I have taught people from as young as age 9 in my self-contained classroom to adult students on how to create websites and structure information logically online. I developed this website template based on my past experiences teaching students from a college of Education on how to make ePortfolios for prospective employers. I myself acquired my current job by using an ePortfolio to show off my past experiences! This template is modeled mostly after my own.

Many prospective teachers want to have their own portfolio website but struggle to find the time to get something started. To address this, I chose Google Sites as the template host because its latest version comes with an incredibly intuitive interface. You can use it as-is or customize it to reflect your personality. You can also integrate Google Drive files and video into it, so that's a huge plus!

I hope that this will serve you well before, during, and after your job interview. Thank you for looking!
