This set focuses on an in class English assignment of either a Personal Narrative or a Persuasive Essay. For the class to engage in the lesson plan, they must have a rough draft essay. I like to have my principal observe this lesson plan in action on either a Tuesday or Wednesday before the final essay is turned on the Friday of the same week. Only the one day for the formal teacher evaluation is included; you will need to create your own plans for introducing the writing assignment to your class.

I’ve used this three instructional years in a row and have been rated highly qualified each time! This formal observation lesson plan example is wonderful for the general education class, inclusion class, or special education resource room.
