Description
TeachKind’s nonfiction reading comprehension worksheet tells the story of “the case that launched PETA” known as the Silver Spring monkeys case. An experimenter was conducting horrific experiments on 17 monkeys when PETA stepped in and went undercover to document the cruelty, report the findings to authorities, and fight a decade-long legal battle to secure the rescue of as many of the monkeys as possible.
