"Teach Kids About Extempo -- 'Poetic Battles' Everywhere' -- All Around This World" is an engaging, participatory world cultures lesson about Trinidad and Tobago's Extempo, and other forms of 'Poetic Batles' worldwide (like Lebanese Zajal and Maltese Ghana Spirtu Pront), that invites kids to experience the exciting improvisation of a super-fun international art form. Kids will meet Trinidadian Extempo performer and All Around This World teaching partner Mark Howell-Paul Again, and maybe even improvise their own clever calypso rhymes.
