Students will be able to analyze and interpret emotions conveyed in poetry by exploring song lyrics from Taylor Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, and relate them to personal experiences.

Assessment:

Students will create their own poems inspired by two Taylor Swift songs, "loml" and "thanK you aIMee," focusing on expressing and conveying their emotions effectively through their writing.
