Tangram Puzzle Task Cards, Mats, and Clip Art

The tangram is a puzzle consisting of seven very specific shapes called tans, and the objective is to recreate a shape, given only a silhouette, using all seven pieces. This game is a wonderful and fun tool for teaching problem solving, critical thinking, shapes, and geometry concepts like symmetry and congruency.

This tangram set contains 32 unique puzzles, plus high-quality transparent PNG images of the 7 individual tans, which can be used to create your own puzzles and solutions! All 32 puzzles come in both quarter-page task card and full-page mat/worksheet formats. The puzzle mats are designed to perfectly fit standard 4”x4” tangram sets, but if you do not already have pieces that fit, printable tangram sets have also been provided.

Each puzzle version comes in black fill and white fill silhouettes and puzzle solutions are provided in black, white, and color. The individual tan clipart also comes in black, white, and color with two different black variants: black with a black border for creating your own puzzle silhouettes and black with a white border for creating puzzle solutions.
