Description

The reading genre TALL TALES will be a hit with your students! In this Tall Tales unit your students will learn all about famous characters such as Johnny Appleseed, Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Annie Oakley and Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind.

This Tall Tales unit includes many engaging, fun and educational activities such as reader's theater scripts, writing activities, and figurative language lessons.

This Tall Tale unit includes 6 tall-tales reader’s theater scripts. Each reader’s theater script has a reader 1 and reader 2 that tells the story of the tall tale character. Reader's theater makes for a fun activity that also helps practice fluency.
