Description

This is a social story written for the child who struggles with "sharing" classroom jobs. The child who gets upset if he/she can't be Calendar Helper or Line Leader every day. The story was written to gently explain the concept of sharing these important tasks. It should be read to the child each day- particularly close to the time when jobs are assigned. The adult should encourage the child to read along, ask questions, and elicit dialogue about the child's feelings/thoughts on being a teacher helper.
